Cocoa Beach

Well a quick post of pictures. Ty is doing so well, he made a 19 hour car ride with an infant pretty easy, I know right, but seriously he did awesome!  And we took him to the beach and he tried to eat the sand ;/.  Ha, but overall it has been great. The weather is wonderful and the beach is so beautiful!

Our beach baby, sand and all.

Sooo sleepy

And Lightning McQueen has been spotted in the pool!

One of my favorite pictures of him, his grandma bought him this shark hat before he was born.

Blue and Yellow, Chomp-ers and Wheels

Last Monday was beautiful, it was a surprise and we LOVED it.  You give my sisters a theme and they will rise to the occasion.  I love my sisters, brother in laws, nephews, nieces and our parents.  They all came in blue and yellow, lucky for us those are UofM colors as well.  We are all Michigan and Tyce fans.  We all embraced and celebrated this new part of us, for one day and one day only a year we will make Tyce feel extra special because of that extra gene.  Other then 3-21 and 5-31 he has to earn his extra special days :).    The support and love for Tyce was felt in the room, and for that we thank my sisters who always know how to throw a party.   Give us the opportunity to celebrate and oh celebrate we will!!!   (We kinda crashed his nap time, so he was very tired but he hung in there, I think he knew it was for him :).

Ty and My mom

My two oldest nephews and the two little babys of the family.  JD, Ricky, Royce and Ty.

Ty's Primos :)

Yay thank you for the party!

And then there is teething of course, his little Elmo has saved the day!

Chomp Chomp

We love his cheeks and lips in this photo ;) Ok, he is our baby scholar!

And his momma can't keep up with him anymore.

Part 2

He goes back and forth from the kitchen to the living room until he can hardly breath, we then have to supply him with a four oz bottle of water and some fresh air.

I was asked to put my email up so if anyone wanted to ask me any questions and I never thought about it before, but I love to talk to new moms or moms that have been doing this for a while.  here is my email if you want to contact me dmarmat@gmail.com!  I would love to hear form anyone. Or post a comment, I secretly Love Em' <3.  To Florida we go next week, Ty has shades and swimmys and we can't wait to see how tan he gets :), were excited!!!

Blooming

( If you listen to the play list, I chose this song because I am soooo ready for some Spring Break in Florida, and well... Enrique screams Miami baby! But if you want to hear Tyce just push pause on my playlist below).

I thought this was too funny, had to share his St. Patty's day Jig on his jumper.

First of all thank you so much to everyone who sent there condolences, last week was a hard week, but with hardships comes acceptance, and we accept that my grandfather and beautiful sister are in heaven.  How can I not be ok with that?

So, much of this post will entail photos of about the last three weeks ;).  Ty has been doing really well, he took to the ear tubes great and his follow up appointment showed no hearing problems, so that was nice.  We don't see the ENT for another year ;).

Tyce got a baptism present from his Grandpa and Grandma Matchinsky, a red toy box and he loves it.  He tries to climb up it but hasn't quite figured out how to pull his whole body weight up.  He is trying tho, he always tries and well that makes us so proud!

Laughing really hard!  Maybe wondering why his mom always puts funny hats on him...?

Ok, so we got two opinions on Tyce's eyes and one of the doctors said he has the slightest prescription and decided to prescribe him glasses.  The other doctor said he had no prescription, go figure.  I think we are going for a third opinion and then go from there, but, regardless for now we will introduce TYCIE POTTER!

Have I mentioned, he is in LOVE with Bo :)

Ok, chicken little, with those cheeks?

The night before he got his glasses we had a little iphoto session :).  I tried putting him to bed, and putting him to bed is usually TJ's duty because I'm at work. Well I had the night off and TJ had stuff to do for work.  He came up and laughed at us because by that time of night Tyce would have been asleep for at least an hour, I failed.  Either way I enjoyed my baby at night, which is so rare.  Now, TJ should have him in the morning, so I can see how they do. :).

He hasn't done this to his own a whole lot, just to mine.

One more  to start the weekend.  Flexible?

"Today you are you, that is truer than true"

Thanks Dr. Seuss and Dr. S for performing Tyce's ear surgery this morning.   From the moment at the hospital when they said he did not pass one of his ear tests we were concerned.  We were first time parents with a lot being thrown at us all at once.  But, today we are so happy because Ty is who he is and that is so true.

He loves to be read too and he loves to read, he loves to make funny faces and he loves to talk to us.  Most of all he LOVES to smile.  Ask anyone who knows him, he doesn't stop smiling.  We can't even take him to the store without him smiling at EVERYONE!!!

My dad reading me the book "Just go to bed"

Haha mom, colors are funny!

Sleepy...

Just kiddin'

Movin'

Miss Sondra would be so proud of you pulling that string, here is our proof!

Phone I gotcha!

And we prayed that everything would turn out perfectly today. And so far so good.  Ty left with the anesthesiologist and we said bye to our little buddy as he was taken into the surgery room. And an hour later with both grandmas in the room, your Godmother and your Grandpa in the room trying to make mom and dad smile you came back and the doctor said you did so well and your ears look great.  We go back next week for a follow up and one more hearing test.  Today, you are being you again, smiling, babbling and telling us all about it!  All about how we woke you up too early and you weren't a fan of any of it, but now you just want to read, play, kiss your dog and say na na, na na, ba ba and tell us how big you feel.  Tyce there is no one else who is youer then you!

Thanks dad for the picture

He could hear a baby crying in the next room, and wanted to see what was all the fuss about.

"I think I'm ready to go, if that baby is crying what will they do to me?''

"Ok, maybe I'll stay but i'm not sure about all this"

Are you sure about this wormy?  Will you come with me?  And his worm never left his side :).

Im back guys!  Can we go home now? I'm hungry!
Thank you Martha, Evelyn, Pita, Connie and Angie for your thoughts and prayers all day!  Ty loves his Aunts so much :) And thanks to his Grandparent's for always being there for all of us!  And above all thank you God for being with our little bug the entire time!

  Ear tubes check.
